The Opportunity

As our PBS Trainer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the skills and knowledge of our care staff. You'll deliver specialised training across various topics, including Positive Behaviour Support, physical intervention, effective communication, and person-specific conditions.

What You'll Do

  • Inspire and motivate our staff to enhance their skills, focusing on PBS and other critical areas of support
  • Develop and deliver engaging training sessions for support workers
  • Champion best practices, advocating for least restrictive approaches
  • Provide constructive feedback to learners
  • Tailor your approach to meet individual learning needs
  • Travel to our branches in Whalley, Liverpool, and Chester to deliver on-site training

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a support or care role within healthcare, social care, or education
  • Proven knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support concepts and strategies
  • Strong organisational, planning, and presentation skills
  • A positive, resilient, and adaptable attitude
  • Passion for making learning engaging and impactful
  • Willingness to travel to our various branches

Qualifications

Possess or be willing to achieve a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF) or equivalent
